Every girl loves dressing up and me and my gal pals are no exception. We have this fashion fantasy for ages of going out together while strutting sky-high heels and garbed in super stylish clothes. Tapos chikka-chikka while walking then a papparazi snaps a photo of us.
THINK: Sex and the City girls
You know. THAT kind of imagination. Haha.
So one Saturday we gathered our confidence and decided to "dress-up".
But since we live in a modest city, we have to downplay our fashion fantasies a little.
We can't exactly don sky-high heels because of transportation matters.
But then who knows? We might have the courage someday na i-carry mag-heels plus super outfit habang sakay ng tricycle. Haha.
Anyway, here's us:
My friend Akemi (middle) in a beautiful pink sundress and Kristine (right) in a classic LBD (Little Black Dress).
On the other hand, here's what I wore:
Kept my messy hair in a bun. Pang-nurse ang peg.
LEFT: Black ruffled skirt scored at the bargain section of a local Department Store

RIGHT: Silver top bought for 50 bucks at a thrift store.
I just love dishing out my cheap fashion finds.
Besides, I wouldn't brand myself Chic Cheapskate for nothing. Chos!
Lesson: You need not to wear super expensive clothes to feel fabulous.
You only need girlfriends who are willing to play "dress-up" with you and an ounce of confidence. Chos again. Haha.

We actually watched the What Women Want: FASHION SHOW at SM City General
Santos later that afternoon.
My friend Kristine blogged about it HERE.
