BEHIND THE SCENES

I truly do not know where to begin my story.

But okay here it goes:

My friend Toni (pictured below) and her ever creative mom, Tita Rossana, was planning on having a Fashion Show-inspired birthday party for Toni's 19th birthday. Being a close friend of hers, I was chosen to play the part of a "model" along with our other friends.

Prior to her birthday, we had a lot of activities in preparation for the BIG DAY. First, we had our first fashion show (which I blogged about  HERE) so that we can have a peek on how's it like to be on the actual runway. Second, we had practices at the local gym on weekends (which I sort of blogged about  HERE).

And lastly, last October 14, we had a photoshoot at the beach. It was such a fun experience! We had a sleepover at Toni's place the night prior since the call-time for make-up and preparations should start at around 5:00 am the next morning. Also, since the location was the beach, we should start early so as not get our skin burned from too much sun. Haha.

But as it turned out, we all woke up late since we did a lot of crazy things. You know sleepovers, they can get too crazy! We watched the Britney Spears concert, painted our nails, fooled around, and of course the talkathon that lasted up until early morning.

Anyway, the photos below were outtakes from the actual pictorial.

Most of the photos were taken at Susan's Beach at Maasim, Saranggani Province. Approximately, it's only an hour away from the city. But what I enjoyed the most was when we stopped by the road to shoot. It was so fun! We literally had to look out for cars so as not to get ourselves crashed! Haha.

Plus the place really reminded me of Santorini, Greece as I've seen in movies and photos.
It was real nice.

The official photos from the photographers will be on the next post!
Stay tuned!

Got this beautiful orange flowery-printed, butterfly-sleeved top for only P99.00 at SM Department Store!

Phew! That is such a long description for an article of clothing bought at such a cheap price. Haha. Wore this last Wednesday at school for Wash Day.

Just a quick post!

IT'S ALWAYS A GOOD TIME!

Last Saturday, we had our overnight barkada outing at Water Gran Resort. It was actually a celebration of many things, but more importantly it was a time to bond, relax and give thanks for the successful fashion show birthday party of my friend, Toni (which I am about to blog soon).

The experience was really one for the books, or should I say for the blog? Haha. The photos above are just actually a small peek on how really awesome it was. The ride at the van, playing frisbee at the sand while marveling at the sunset, kiddie parlor games, huge inviting pool, booze, drunken nights (but with parental supervision mind you), dusk till dawn talkathon, and best of all, good company....it all sums up to an awesome weekend! ♥

And oh wait, I forgot..my tipsy cartwheel! Haha.

The whole fun prepared me to brave another stressful semester. And best of all it was also a celebration of friendship. How cheesy it sounds but really I am so thankful that I have these guys. We've been together since our freshmen year. Some left for a time but they still came back while some new ones are welcomed with open arms to join the group. :)

Everything wouldn't be possible without Toni and Tita Neng.
Thank you so much Tita and Nise!
We love you!

ANOTHER OPEN BIRTHDAY LETTER FOR TONI ROSE "NISE" ROMERO

She's the girl who is somewhere between simple and stylish dressed in her t-shirt and jeans.
She's the girl who taught me best on how to KEEP CALM during the most "taranta" situations.
The girl who maintains a calm and cool exterior.
The girl who is "tahimik" but witty once she cracks a joke.
The girl who is beautiful without being vain.
The girl whom I can be at my most natural without her being judgmental.
The girl whom I can be completely be weird with.
The girl whom I can spend the whole day laughing with at nonsense stories and corny punchlines.
The girl who is fully in control of her emotions.

And probably, the most humble creature I've ever known..

HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY TONI ROSE ROMERO!!

In a span of three years, our friendship has grown (sana tayo naman!). I couldn't be more thankful to God that I have a friend like you. :)

Thank you for letting me play Temple Run sa iPod mo kahit pa-lowbat na.
Thank you for introducing Kikomachine Komiks and Girl's Generation in my life.
Thank you for being so patient with me when I get so annoying.
Thank you for letting us take tons and tons of pictures in your camera at kukulitin ka pa na "Upload agad ha?". Hahaha.

But seriously, I wish you truckload of pure happiness Nise. I pray that you'll have the courage to become what you envisioned yourself to be under God's will. Never fail to know that I'll always be here for you. :)

Thank you for your generosity.
Thank you for the countless good times.
Thank you for just being my friend.

And the best thing I am most thankful for about you  Nise is that you are SLOW TO ANGER. You seem to never get angry! And that attribute of yours taught me to be more patient and not sweat the small things.

I love you babycake!
Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
